Era Tak ( b. 13 March) is a Indian fiction writer, Filmmaker and Painter. She is best known for her collection of short stories ‘Raat Paheli’ and Many popular Original audio web series with Swedish Audio Company Storytel. She divides her time between Mumbai and Jaipur. Era Tak was born to Engineer Father and Lecturer mother in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Her maternal Grand Father Prem Singh Bhakuni of Almora (Modern Uttrakhand) was captain in British Indian Army. She grew up in the small towns of UP. She received a bachelor’s degree in Science, MA in History and PG Diploma in Mass Communication from Agra University, Agra. She is a successful self taught painter, has taken part in nine solo and many group art exhibitions at Leading Art Galleries of Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi. Many of her artworks are sold to Indian and International buyers. Tak is also a filmmaker. Her work includes the four short films Even the Child Knows, Flirting Mania, W Turn and Rainbow. Now she is writing a script of a full length feature film.
