Gopal Swami. Khetanchi born on 2nd February 1958, He is one of the eminent and outstanding painters of Rajasthan. He has been honoured by State Government award, Shan-e-Rajasthan award and Maharaja Sajjan Singh award. From past three decades khetanchi is the individual who constantly searching his own visual idea and appearance in a different way by exploring the depth of creation, which includes series of submissive landscapes, portraits, Mythological representations along with numerous vibrant, solicitous creative abstract compositions. After finishing formal art education, he worked as an illustrator for Rajasthan Patrika, a leading news paper and later contributed in Art direction for ‘Bollywood, films like ‘Mukadar ka Sikandar’, ‘Kalia’ ‘Abdullah’and‘Jawalamukhi’ counted to his achievements.

From past three decades khetanchi is the individual who constantly searching his own visual idea and appearance in a different way by exploring the depth of creation, which includes series of submissive landscapes, portraits, Mythological representations along with numerous vibrant, solicitous creative abstract compositions. After finishing formal art education, he worked as an illustrator for Rajasthan Patrika, a leading news paper and later contributed in Art direction for ‘Bollywood, films like ‘Mukadar ka Sikandar’, ‘Kalia’ ‘Abdullah’and‘Jawalamukhi’ counted to his achievements.

He had eleven solo shows in national and international art galleries including London and participated in several group shows along with Art Singapore, Bangkok, Madrid, Art Mart Epicenter, Art positive & series of Art Today’s exhibitions. In the year 2014 his painting Bani Thani- image of his own innovative version featured on a poster for Indian festival Paris.
His art works can be seen as in various prestigious collections such as in The Museum of Sacred Art, Belgium.

His major art works represents the vivid and glowing life of surrounding in an impressive style; where at a time, on his canvas one can easily witness the resonance of subtle idioms in the means of both folk and classical gestures in the application of line, color and overall form. In his personal life he has deep inclination towards meditation and spiritual processes which certainly provides him a different notion of Intuitive understanding of interrelationship of form with cosmic spaces.
