Shailja Bhagora is an artist - specialist in figurative work in Indian village lifestyle. Her involvement in art for over 25 years. She produces several unique art work. Shailja's paintings have gone on display at many group exhibitions in India. She is passionate in drawing about Indian village life and specially in Kutch, Saurashtra and Rajasthani village people and culture. she is also expert in landscape drawing. Her work over the years has progressed from oil colour and acrylic colour with figurative art and create special art in village lifestyle. She is graduate in commerce but interested in art by school time. Daily visit in art galleries in Ahmedabad and Vadodara and got inspiration. She is housewife but due to interest in art and daily practice, guidance and learning by other artist, now she is expert in drawing with Oil and Acrylic colour on Canvas. Her painting mostly focused on village life.
