Sujit Das received his B.V.A. in Painting from the Government College of Arts and Craft, Calcutta University (1990). His artworks portray scenic landscapes and glimpses of everyday village life including lush farms, rivers and bikes parked by the road. These simple, elementary subjects are rendered in striking compositions, rich with texture, movement and vibrant colours. Das’ works have shown across the country including several shows in Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Focus Areas: Marine Life, Portraits, Vastu, etc.
