Joined Craft Tatva: November 2022
The artist in me started rather early in my life, only as a hobby of course, yet from the very beginning, my artistic ability was quite noticeable to my teachers. After gaining a seat at the esteemed institute of the Government College of Art & Crafts, Calcutta, I gradually enhanced and perfected myself technically. My preferred mediums are; oil, acrylic, water colour and pen and ink. My habit of experimenting with them constantly helped me gain a certain amount of perfection and style. While a student at the Art College, my paintings were already being displayed at exhibitions. Even now, after nearly two decades of painting, my work is regularly featured in exhibitions across the country. Some of my recent paintings, done in acrylic and ink on rice paper or on canvas, reveal my mastery over the field.
