Under eminent artists like Late Sree Makhan Dutta Gupta in oil color and Sree Maniklal Banerjee

i). First Prize in Water color section from Govt. of West Bengal, in the year 1986.
ii) Certificate of merit in Water color from Oriental Arts Society in the year 1987.
