Almighty On An Open Stage | Oil Painting By Hari Om Singh
Size 18 x 24 (inches) Oil on Canvas
The simple assimilation of holy objects onto a flat platform in the open place holds a respected position in the Hindu Mythology, just like the one shown here.
This flat surface is called as the ‘chabootra’ in hindi and is often dedicated to worship the lords.
Similar to this scenario, a framed picture of young Lord Krishna is kept by the side of another god. Along with these, there is a plant growing meaning presence of life and a devotee as well on the other side of the platform.
With no priest to make the arrangements and sing an Aarti or a chorus, all of these formalities are taken care by the ones who believe in god present with them.
