The Cow Boy - Krishna | Oil Painting By Hari Om Singh
Size 24 x 36 (inches) Oil on Canvas
While Krishna was all known for his thoughts and deeds even in his young years, being a Gawala (cowboy) was one aspect that he enjoyed.
Just as much as he was known to be a naughty kid to everyone around him, yet he was kind to all the beings of the world and the cows were among his favorite.
He used to take care of these cows and take them to the banks of River Yamuna. It is said that this gave him immense pleasure and peace. However, the love was not one sided, even the cows followed him and enjoyed the unmatchable melody of his flute.
Though he doesn’t take these cows to the banks of Yamuna anymore, this responsibility now sits on the shoulders of mankind for whom Lord Krishna came lively to the planet. These cows are holy presences and are means to be a close to lord.
